The Blackwells milk 80 cows twice a day, at 4:00 a.m. and
again at 3:00 p.m. The milk goes to a holding tank and then is pumped
over to the processing plant. The milk is then separated, pasteurized,
packaged and distributed to our customers. Blackwell dairy was the
first dairy in Western Canada to introduce round single serve 500ml
and 250ml plastic milk containers.

The Blackwell Barn
Cream separated from the milk is used to make Whip Cream, Table Cream,
Coffee Cream for coffee bars, Cream for Chocolate and Blackwells
Premium Ice Cream which is available in 11.4 litre 5.7 litre and 1 litre
containers.
